About Dirt School.

Welcome to the home of Dirt School mountain bike coaching. Set up by mountain bike World Cup competitor, Scottish National Downhill coach and Scottish Downhill Champion Chris Ball. We draw on vast amounts of experience in mountain biking to provide you with top quality coaching.

Dirt school was set up to provide mountain bikers with the necessary tuition needed to tackle the fast expanding network of trails and events worldwide. Based in central Scotland, We run courses for all levels on what are considered to be some of the best trails in the World. Receive tips from someone who can actually ride it, has seen it all and who works with the best there is. Choose Dirt School and guarantee yourself a better ride.

Let Dirt School teach you the essentials of mountain biking success, whether you’ve just bought your first bike, preparing for a big event, fancy beating your mates or want to shave vital seconds off your competition time. Our Freeride course have been designed to teach you the basics of jumping without wearing you out and overwhelming you with too much information. If you feel that this isn’t enough and you’ve been pushing to rail some berms, off-camber roots and every other skill needed to navigate around any XC trail without a problem, move up a year onto one of our Cross Country days. Enroll at Dirt High School and nail those switchback turns, drops, rocks, roots and climbs like the best of them.

Alternatively, if your addiction is gravity fed, get to a Downhill class. Dirt School will teach you everything there is to know about all things downhill. From little psychological tricks to specific technical skills coaching. Using the experience gained from over 25 World Cup finals, Chris guarantees you’ll shave at least a couple of seconds off your times.

Dirt School also offers you the unique service of a private session. Enroll at Private School and gain from a personalised session centred entirely around what you want to learn. Duration, class size (get a group of you) and content is entirely bespoke to you so get in touch now.

In Fact…
